What's New at PPHTC?


A new course entitled How to Get it Published: From Conference to Press is now available. By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to: Identify at least two journals that are appropriate for publication of their project,
locate and apply publication guidelines to their project, develop a draft outline for a publication submission, and recognize how elements of a conference presentation can be organized for a publication.
PPHTC Podcasts are now available for listening or downloading to your portable device. Podcast topics cover a range of public health issues. Check back often for updates.
A new course entitled Obesity and Overweight is now available. This course provides background on the overweight problem as it relates to children and adolescents in the United States. It also gives an overview of important prevention strategies and recommendations for health care providers.
The PPHTC now offers a Newsletter that provides information on activities and events of interest to public health professionals. You may view previous Newsletters or subscribe to the Listserv in order to receive future announcements via e-mail.
