1. Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) Web
cast, December 16, 2003

The final event in the Agency for Healthcare Research and
Quality (AHRQ)-sponsored series of five Web-assisted audio
conferences is ready for registration. This event,
Bioterrorism and Other Public Health Emergencies: Linkages
with Community Providers, is scheduled for Tuesday,
December 16, 2003 from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. Eastern Standard
Time. This Web cast will provide information on the issues
and strategies for creating and maintaining linkages with
community providers to effectively share information needed
to prepare for and respond to acts of bioterrorism or other
public health emergencies. Speakers include:

Healthy People 2004 entitled Spirituality, Culture, &
Health is scheduled for March 9-12, 2004 will take place at
Wong Kerlee International Conference Center, Loma Linda
University. Healthy People 2004 will feature a selection of

Chlamydia Training course

California STD/HIV Prevention Training Center has online
Chlamydia Training Course designed to increase the
knowledge of asymptomatic Chlamydia infection and the
importance of screening young sexually active women.
Contents of the course include Chlamydia screening
guidelines, epidemiology of Chlamydia, clinical aspects of
Chlamydia, sexual history taking and counseling, and
diagnostic testing and clinical management of Chlamydia.
